a concussion!

Yes, I'm home from school for a day because I got a concussion yesterday... at school... It's only a mild one, so I didn't get any permanent damage. Yesterday morning, I stopped at the band room to put my mouthpiece in my mellophone case, but I couldn't find it. So I asked Miss Rheude (our band teacher) and she said it was in the closet. So I looked and it was under bajillions of hat boxes. I piled them up on a chair (huge mistake) and bent over to open my case. Well, they fell down and three of them hit my head. I went to the nurse during 5th period and she just gave me Tylenol... >_< Then I had a band detention after school. More on that later. When my mom picked me up, I told her about it and she called the doctor. The doctor said to go to the ER. We waited there for about 2 1/2 hours and I got a catscan. They said it was a mild concussion and gave me some really powerful pain medicine. Lol. I swear that stuff made me loopy. I saw a mermaid with a bear body on the ceiling! So I went home, stopped my Wii from spazzing, (I had a message from Nintendo about an update) and ate dinner. After that I zonked out until this morning. My mom woke me up ang gave me my regular meds around six, and said I should probably stay home. So I went back to sleep!

Now... the band detention? Well... my lesson is during the second half of second period. My second period teacher, Mr. DaRe, had his clock covered and we were watching a movie, so I didn't know what time it was. So I missed my lesson... -_-'
